Logic Computation Module-834

PANTECHS Signal Computation module, Model 834 is designed to accept 2 or more signals ( maximum 10 nos. ) at the input terminal strips. The output can be a logical function ( HI / LO / AVERAGE / SPECIALS ) of the inputs. These input and output signals can be of LINEAR CURRENT ( 4-20 mA DC like ) or LINEAR VOLTAGES only.This output signal hence obtained can be ISOLATED or NON ISOLATED. Low drift precession components are used for long term accuracy of the instruments. All instruments undergo a burn-in for better reliability.The instrument is available in different formats and sizes. Information regarding specification and size is given below.

SQUARE ROOT EXTRACTORS

MODEL 836 - SQUARE ROOT EXTRACTORS Introduction Pantech's Square Root Extractor Module, model 836 is designed to provide linear output for the non-linear flow equivalent type signal. It provides an output of 4 20 mA DC capable of driving a load of upto 800. The input-output relationship can be defined as OUTPUT = SQUARE ROOT OF INPUT. The module accepts 4 20 mA DC signal from two wire and non two wire transmitters. The module also accepts 1 5 V DC signals. Output is a square root of the input. The instrument has a facility of TPS 24 V DC to power up two wire transmitters. In general version, the instrument is available in DIN RAIL version. The module is also available in Euro card format of 3U height and alternatively in a wall mounted housing. 20 Euro card modules can be housed in a 19 Euro card cage. The Euro card modules can be powered from 24V DC power supply whereas wall mounted modules can be powered from 110V AC or 230V AC too. The module incorporates a multiplier/ divider circuit, which performs a polynomial function to linearise the input. The module accepts 4 20 mA DC signal from two wire and not two wire transmitters. The transmitter power supply to feed a two-wire transmitter is available as option. The module also accepts 1 5 V DC signals. The module is available in Euro card format of 3U height and alternatively in a wall mounted housing. 20 Euro card modules can be housed in a 19 Euro card cage. Pantechs Model 831U is an extended version of its Single channel model 821U. In this 831U model, the user gets all the facilities of 821U but in multiples. Model 831U, is a multi-channel Signal Isolator with a dedicated set of input and output per channel. In universal input mode, the user can select any one of the below mentioned inputs, for each of the channel by front keys. The module is an ideal choice when fanning out of process signal is required. All these outputs are isolated from each other, input and power supply. All these outputs are also isolated from each other. This ensures isolation between various subsystems and protects the system from all grounding problems. The high end programmed microcontroller allows the user to configure all the parameters of the instrument. All the calibrations, fine tuning of the output can be done without opening the instrument. All the types of inputs, acceptable by the instrument are mentioned further. The unique design of the module requires only one single positive barrier at the input from a two-wire transmitter for intrinsic safety and isolates the control room. The cold junction compensation is built in and up scale burn out is provided as standard features for thermocouple input ranges.
