STC-6 chucks are used to grip jobs having thin walls as holding pressure is divided on six sides. Specially designed for use on small precision machines which are light in weight and where chuck weight is critical for the machine. The bodies of 80mm and 100mm chucks are made out of steel and above 100mm from SG Iron. This property of being light weight helps to retain the precision of the bearings of the machine for long time.

FOREWORD : The PARAG represents the most modern advance in drilling machine design. It has been built to meet the most exacting requirements of Enginneering and allied trades. It will handle efficiently and at correct speeds in feet per minute, such varied operations as drilling, tapping, lapping, boring etc., in steel, cast iron, plastics and other metals and will accommodate the use of either straight or taper shank tools.

Main Quill and spindle are hardened and grounded and spindle taper bore is also Internal grinded.
Main spindle run out of tolerance as per IS : 2199.
Drill Head are made from best quality material and boring on Important boring Machine.
Precision anti-friction bearing for all rotating members.

These chucks are available with 3 jaws, 4 jaws and 6 jaws and are referred as BBC-3, BBC-4 and BBC-6 respectively. These are similar to Normal Standard Chucks, the only difference is that the bore is larger than normal Chucks. These chucks are used where machine is lighter and the job requires large bore in the chuck. One set of Reverse Jaws, Mounting bolts, Operating Key and inspection report is provided with each chuck.
