Digital TGT Amplifier

The Digital TGT Control Amplifier is a digital fit, form and functional replacement for the original Analog TGT amplifier of the MK-804, MK811 and MK871 engines of the Jaguar and Hawk aircraft. The Digital TGT Amplifier is a mature and field proven system.


The Speed and temperature(TGT) amplifier controls a solenoid valve in the fuelflow system. For a given throttle setting, the fuel-flow is controlled depending on defined external pressure and temperature conditions.

Data Field Loader

Data Field Loader (DFL)

Pinaka has designed and developed a Universal Data Field Loader for uploading and downloading Mission and Navigation data. It is also capable of providing the following functions for the Pilot/Maintenance Engineer and Mission Planner.




Pilot / Maintenance Engineer:

The Pilot/Maintenance Engineer can use DFL as briefing and de-briefing tool, prepare missions, analyse system performance, analyse techniques, replay missions, perform Built-in-Test, check serviceability of the entire system and LRU/SRU level checks of the system.


Mission Planner:

The mission planner can use DFL to perform automatic analysis of the downloaded data, programming of various techniques and use it as briefing and de-briefing tool for the pilots

Data Acquisition Boards





Pinaka has designed and developed the signal conditioning cards for testing of various IFCS vanes/sensors/probes of LCA such as AOA/AOSS, ASA, CSRP, DCSU, FCP, RSA, TAT for generation of required voltages/currents for excitation of UUT and measurement circuits for UUT response. Data acquisition is implemented for RVDT/LVDT Interfaces, Discrete Inputs and Analog Inputs. The signal conditioning boards also generate required drive signals (ON/OFF) for the GO/NO-GO lamps that indicate final clearance of the unit after comprehensive diagnostics and health checks.

No Volts Cum Pulse Tester

Pinaka has designed and developed a generic, CRI-certified microcontroller based "No Volts cum Pulse Tester" for fighter aircrafts that detects the presence of stray voltages. It also detects the correctness of amplitude and the duration of the firing pulses. The system is in operational use with ADA and HAL. Synchro Card

The synchro card in ATE is capable of generating six outputs synchro signals and six reference channels (one used and five spare). The synchro output channels generated by ATE will be having a step size of at least 15. All the synchro channels will be routed through ATE control panel. Also, these will be available at patch panel for monitoring using synchro display. The synchro card generates synchro output signals on receiving commands from FPGA based I/O card. The FPGA I/O card is used as interface between IPC and synchro output card. The synchro card is capable of generating 3 phase synchro channels and single phase synchro reference signals. The angle set at GUI will be read by host software and send to FPGA card as commands. FPGA card sets the data bits (I/O bits) for generation of synchro outputs by synchro card.

The controller board is configured around Tiva TM4C123GH6PGE Microcontroller of Texas Instruments. The controller PCB consists of the microcontroller, two 16-bit ADCs, another microcontroller configured for implementing Ethernet MAC/PHY 10/100, Serial EEPROM and OLED Display. The controller board can be used as general purpose interface board for data acquisition using configurable interfaces such as Discrete I/Os, Analog Inputs, RS 232, RS 422/485, CAN, USB and Ethernet communication interfaces. Interface to SD card is also available for reading external data.
