C-series centrifugal pumps find application throughout sanitary and industrial processes. These rugged pumps accommodate a wide range of solid and liquids under a variety of flow conditions and deliver long service with minimum downtime.

Mixproof valves can be either double or single seated. A double-seated mixproof valve has two independent seals separating the two liquids and a drainage chamber between. This chamber must be open to atmosphere to ensure full mixproof safety in case either of the two seals should leak. When a double-seated mixproof valve is activated, the chamber between the upper and lower body is closed and then the valve opens to connect the upper and lower pipelines. When the valve is closed, first the upper plug seals and then the leakage chamber is opened to atmosphere. This gives very small product losses during operation.

SMS hygienic sight glass products are made by forged material. Type of ends available: Weld end, Male end and Female end. Glass is made of tempered glass which can bear Max working 10 Bar. Replaceable. EPDM, Silicon, Viton and PTFE seats are available, making the Sight Glass suitable for many applications in such as food, dairy, beverage, meat processing, vacuum processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, and many other industries. It is necessary you specify at the time of order heat numbers and MTR's are required. Material Test Reports (MTR's) are available to document all heat number.

By means of technological innovation Sondex has developed and designed a new generation of plate heat exchangers. With the big range of plate heat exchangers Sondex has got the optimal technical solution for any possible task, with connection sizes from Ø15 to Ø500 mm covering a liquid flow of 50lhour to 2000 m3hour. The construction of the inlet part makes a perfect distribution of the liquids across the heating surface. The inlet part is increased and designed with channels preventing "dead spots" on the plate heat exchanger. The inlet with channels secures a strong inlet part with a minimum of contact points. A gasket plate heat exchanger consists of a number of pressed metal plates each with a rubber gasket. The gaskets are arranged in such a way so as to allow two fluids to pass in opposite directions up and down alternate channels. The design of the exchanger enables it to be easily dismantled for cleaning or addition of plates.

Semi welded plates are built up in plate cassettes. A plate cassette is 2 plates welded together by means of laser welding. The advantage by this construction is on the one side welded plate channel and on the other side a traditional plate channel with gaskets making assembling and cleaning of this side easier. On the welded side there are two specially produced corner hole gaskets creating the tightening between the two cassettes. Thus the gasket is reduced to a minimum on the welded side.

"Free Flow" product range offers distinct advantages, especially when used for liquids containing solids, particles, fibres or high viscous products i.e. pulppaper industry, waste water treatment plants, sugar industry, juice production, grain based ethanol production, heat recovery systems and many other special tasks where the "normal" plate heat exchangers usually will block.

Low purchase price, high technical efficiency combined with thin plate material and low production costs keep the Sondex sales price of the brazed heat exchanger at an extremely competitive level. High temperature and pressure contrary to the traditional plate heat exchanger. The brazed plate heat exchanger does not contain rubber gaskets and can thus operate continuously at temperatures from minus 180°C. up to 200°C. The operating pressure can be as high as 30 bar.

Known to produce vibrations at relatively low frequencies, our range of Acoustic horns is used to remove soot and other buildups of particulates from chimneys, catalyst beds, or other process vessels. Suitable for areas that are inaccessible to slag, these sonic horns are relatively inexpensive to operate, and are most effective when used frequently to prevent the buildup of undesirable particles.

Fire suppression systems require strategic placement of fire nozzles for sample water deluge that will protect equipment in the case of fire. EDT liquid-activated fire suppression nozzles provide this deluge by utilizing a specially designed spray head that fully extend under liquid pressure during fire suppression system activation.

Whey and Whey Permeate Spray Drying system. In this system configuration, product is exposed to low temperatures during the drying process to convert ß-lactose to a-lactose crystals in whey or whey permeate. The result is powder that is non-hygroscopic and free flowing. Main components of this system include an evaporator, feed system, drying chamber, lactose conversion belt, vibrating fluid bed, cyclones and wet scrubber. This type of system is extremely energy efficient with energy costs up to 24 percent less per lb. of powder compared to traditional straight through spray drying methods.
