In the year 1975, our company, \'Poonam Engineering Works\' was established in Pune (INDIA), with an aim to manufacture wood working machines. Over the course of 35 years, the company has steadily expanded business and till date we have developed a range of chain saw machines, under the brand name of \'Shapura\'. We are situated in one of the most developed Industrial Zones in the country. Here we have set up total in-house facilities to manufacture castings, electric motors, which include machining, assembly and testing equipment. Poonam Engineering Works has a full fledged research and development wing, equipped with latest technology and sophisticated equipment. In 2009, our company was registered with the \'ISO 9001:2008\' certification. We have developed a large network of dealers and stockists spread all over India. Our latest product is a \'Log Splitting Machine\', which got a good response in the Indian market, after its introduction in 2009. We are proud to say that, within a short time span, we have developed a strong and loyal customer base. As always, we are striving hard to improve the standard of service offered to our customers. With the aim of making our machines more user friendly and efficient, it has been a company policy to directly interact with customers to better understand their requirements and take in their suggestions and acting upon them. Till date we have exported out machines to Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma and some African countries. Our ultimate aim is to reach out to customers on a global scale.
