All our manufacturing equipments are the latest, state of the art CNC machines. Thereby, quality is ensured with stringent process control at every stage of manufacturing.
To endorse the quality of Gears produced, we have M & M CNC Gear Inspection system. We inspect following parameters on First off , last off & periodically during production of all gears.
# Radial Runout
# Single flank pitch errors
* Individual pitch error on both flanks
* Successive pitch error on both flanks
* Accumulative pitch error on both flanks.
# Lead Error on both flanks
# Involute (Profile) Error on both flanks
All these features are checked with respect to DIN, AGMA, EURO, ISO standards. We can also check gears with respect to customer specific requirement.
We inspect Heat Treated Gears for Hardness & Case Depth.
Hardness can be checked on following scales as per customer's Specifications.

Skiving of Gears is a newly developed process for finishing Spur & Helical Gears after heat treatment. ( upto 60 HRC Hardness). Hobbed gear is recut using special Carbide Hob thereby removing heat treatment distortion.
Skiving can be considered as superior alternative method of finishing gears by Shaving. As shaving operation is carried out before heat treatment, distortions caused during Heat Treatment can not be corrected. However, it is possible by Skiving.
Skiving can also be cosidered as cost effective alternative to Gear Grinding.
Also, it has certain advantages over gear grinding. Generally, during gear grinding, there is risk of burning marks on profile as well as miniature surface cracks which are very difficult to detect. Both these defects are eliminated in skiving.
Also, lub oil retaining capacity of skived gears is better than ground gears.
Greatest advantage of skiving is finishing of integral pinion on Armature shafts & Gears with shoulders where Gear Grinding is impossible. Skiving is the only solution to finish such components.
We have demonstrated this new process to some of our customers who have now changed over from gear grinding to Skiving.
DIN 6 Quality is achived on skived gears.
We use CNC Angular Wheel Head Grinder for Finish grinding of Diameters & shoulders on Shaft type gears. We focus on dimensional & geometrical accuracies such as roundness, squareness, flatness & surface finish. Our machine is ideally suited for grinding of Pump gears where Diameter & gear width is controlled precisely using in process gauges.
