Welcome to prasiddh farms
Why Organic farming? In the race to increase per hectare production of crops, unhealthy farm practices have become common. The use of chemical pesticides and fertilzers is rampant, despite growing evidence of those being linked to growing cases of cancer and other genetic disorders. Harmful pesticides are also the reason for disappearance of many useful bio organisms and insects that plan a crucial role in the natural farm ecosystem. Water is provided using drip irrigation to conserve the precious resource. Adopting mechanized inputs increases the efficiency of labour. The farm is fenced from all sides to prevent wild boars and other elements from damaging the plants. The Dairy unit on farm ensures a regular supply of manure, which is further processed to make organic fertiliser and also manufacture vermicompost in the facility installed on farm. A continuous supply of water is ensured by the borewell on farm. And an off-grid solar system provides enough power to operate the submersible pumps, fans and adequate lighting after sundown.
