The next process after cutting & creasing of the sheet is Slotting & corner cutting. It is simultaneously done over the Eccentric Slotter Machine. Slot dies are mounted on an eccentric shaft which causes them to move in an arc so that the board is slotted in a shearing manner. The corner die is moved, like wise. The sheets are fed through the machine by hand. Due to its rugged construction it can take up a number of sheets in one stroke.  The dies can be moved on the machine very easily & the slot depth can be adjusted by the guage provided along it. Two guides are provided on the feed table, to support the sheets at correct dimension and feeding.

This machine finds its use in the application of the glue of the tips of the corrugated surface of paper or a board. DESIGN CHARACTERTICS : this machine mainly constitutes three rools viz. Glue applicator, Glue Doctor & a feed roll. The large applicator roll revolving in the GLue carries the adhesive, layered evently by the doctor roll behind, to the crests of the paper flute, A third roll, which rotates freely, is suspended over the glue applicator roll for feeding of the board. The gap between the rolls is adjustable. The glue pan can be raised or lowered to adjust the glue level. The glue can be completely drained when the pan plugs are removed.
