Horizontal hydrodynamic seal pump : this very similar to conventional horizontal bpo pumps in construction, except that it has with a uniquely designed expeller provided in the rear of the impeller. This expeller acts as a hydrodynamic seal which is effective when the pump is in operation. This design ensures no leakage in the entire range of operation this pump can handle clear liquid as well as slurries and is ideally suited for any inorganic corrosive fluids where mechanical seal poses an operational challenge for maintenance engineers. The maintenance cost and down time is very low compared to the pump with a mechanical seal with a high reliability. During non-operative condition you would observe a leak as that observed in a gland packing pump

Vertical Sump Pumps are used in applications where the liquid to be pumped cannot be primed or a conventional priming arrangement is not fail-proof. The extended shaft in these pumps drives the impeller, the liquid is pumped out through the delivery pipe. The pumps are manufactured in materials like Cast Steel, SS-316, Alloy-20 and its combinations and upto a maximum depth of immersion of 3.5 meters.
