Universal series Potato planter is designed for planting of potatoes of other tubers or bulbs, whole or cut in medium and big farms. Potato planters are trailed type equipment, operated by required horse power tractors by using three point linkage of the tractor.The planting mechanism of Universal planter is driven by the pneumatic tyre provided on the machine. The distance between the rows is adjustable and the seeding distance can be varied from 2 Inch to 15 Inch. The covering of the tubers is made by the discs with adjustable inclination or by the ridgers with adjustable wings or with both options.
