    Product Overview

ASME SA 387 Gr. 9 Cl. 1 / Cl. 2 Plates are 9% chromium and 1% molybdenum alloy steel plates designed for elevated temperature and pressure service, especially in power plants, refineries, and petrochemical units. They are known for their superior creep resistance, oxidation resistance, and mechanical strength in high-temperature environments.

The difference between Class 1 and Class 2 lies in tensile strength, with Cl.2 offering higher strength values while retaining similar chemical composition and service characteristics.

    Key Features
    • High-temperature oxidation and corrosion resistance

    • Excellent thermal stability and creep strength

    • Good fabrication, formability, and weldability

    • Suitable for boilers, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels

    • Delivered in normalized and tempered condition
