Avocado Indian

The 

 is a medium-sized, evergreen laurel tree. It is native to the Americas and was domesticated more than 5,000 years ago by Mesoamerican tribes. It was prized both then and now for its large and unusually oily fruit.
Butterfruits, or Indian Avocados, are medium-sized fruits with smooth, leathery, and glossy skin. These avocados have large seed pits and creamy flesh with less oil content than other avocado varieties. When we hear about avocados, it's like we're having a royal feast. It is commonly referred to as butter fruit, and its pulp has a buttery, creamy texture. The oil percentage in Indian avocados is lower (12% less), so the texture is less creamy and more nutty. But don't worry, Indian avocados are just as nutritious, so you won't be missing out on anything. Instead, our avocados are grown locally without the use of any harmful chemicals to extend their shelf life for transportation. They are medium-sized fruits with a leathery dark green skin. Avocados were brought to India by our neighbor, Sri Lanka.
