Impel offers EXB series Brake Motors with Aluminium frame. Which are for various applications requiring almost instant stopping of drive load. The braking action is obtained without axial sliding of shaft and provided equal braking torque in both directions of rotations. Basically brake motor combination of an A.C. induction motor and a disc type fail safe Electromagnetic brake unit. The EXB series covers products with outputs from as 0.18kW to 7.5kW in frame sizes 63 to 132M in 2, 4 & 6 pole speed. Brake motor are available in foot, Flange Mounting.
