Description
Exact-O-Mat® is a flexible, resilient blanket-type fiberglass insulation faced on one side with a smooth, durable, non-woven, treated mat. The fiberglass blanket provides high acoustical values in the high and low frequency ranges normally encountered in appliances and HVAC equipment. It is ideal for use in equipment applications requiring effective thermal and acoustical control, low air friction, damage resistance and attractive appearance.
Applications
Exact-O-Mat® fiberglass insulation is well-suited for use in air conditioners, furnaces and HVAC equipment in an effort to reduce thermal transfer and reduce sound transmission. This insulation can be manufactured to extremely close thickness tolerances so it is ideal for applications in which the restriction of air flow is critical.
This strong resilient insulation resists damage and withstands the effects of high air velocities. It is available as thin as ¼″ (6mm) for limited space applications.
