Extractors

Extractors are tools used primarily for removing broken and seized up screws, bolts, studs and threaded pieces. Because of spiral extractors counter-clockwise design, they dig in and begin to unscrew the jammedstuck piece as you turn it, square extractors also loosen in the same fashion but this is only because you turn them counter-clockwise after hammering them into a pre-drilled hole so it can grip by force instead of also having spiraled flutes. They are simple to use and require minimal effort and tools to get the job done. This eliminates many problems caused by stuckbroken bolts, which can be very painstaking to remove by other means. Excellent in application where environmental factors cause fasteners to corrode and rust in place, often leading to seizing or breaking, such as marine or automotive applications.
