The machine measures the length of the fabric and calculates the folding length by controlling the speed and position of the fabric conveying system. It uses air jets and mechanical devices to fold the linen horizontally and vertically based on the sensor feedback signal. The machine can do four or five folds by using either a trowel structure or a lift plate structure.

The machine is mainly used after the ironing machine to replace manual work and save labor, reduce labor intensity, improve folding quality and efficiency, and control costs. It is an essential finishing equipment for large scale washing plants that want to save energy and increase efficiency. The machine has a patented anti-static device that can remove the static on the belts, preventing the linen and belts from sticking together during folding.
