Infrared Moisture Balance

Infrared Moisture balance is very reliable and sturdyinstrument for accurate determination of the moisturecontents of materials which do not under go chemical changewhen exposed to infrared radiation. Since drying andweighing of the samples is done simultaneously. theinstrument is especially useful for substances which quicklyreabsorb moisture after drying. Observation can be takenquickly and the results obtained are accurate. The instrumenthas been profitably utilized for reliable determination ofmoisture contents of agricultural solid food chemicals,plastic, pharmaceuticals, construction soils and other similarmaterials. The Instrument consists of a 250 Watt infraredlamp, a sensitive torsion balance, and an auto transformer(Regavolt) all housed in a compact cabinet made ofaluminium, having robust design.
