BIRTH MODE:

The birth mode is used at the time of labour. This birth mode further has burst mode and boost mode. Burst mode controls the pain in between the contractions and boost mode controls the pain during the contractions. The modes can be switched from boost to burst with a simple click of a button. The modes can be customized according to the pain the mother undergoes.

PAIN MODE:

The pain mode is usually suitable for treating chronic and acute pain after delivery. Pain mode has four different programs,

• Constant mode: In this mode, the pulses are continuous, and used for treating acute pain conditions.
• Burst mode: Burst mode is used when the pain is chronic.
• Massage mode: The pulse increase and decrease frequently creating a massaging feel, this mode relaxes the body after delivery.
• Mix mode: This mode is a mixture of constant and massage modes.

PELVIC MODE:

Incontinence is a condition in which the urinary sphincter does not act voluntarily. This condition occurs after delivery as the pelvic muscles tend to stretch and remain in the stretched condition.

The pelvic mode assists the mother after the postpartum period with a pelvic floor toner called “sensa probe”. This mode helps to prevent incontinence in mothers after delivery due to pelvic floor stretching. This mode helps prevent the leakage of urine.  The pelvic mode is the most significant in ELLE TENS +, consisting of four programs.

• Program 1: Helps with urge incontinence (an urgent and uncontrollable need to urinate).
• Program 2: Helps with stress incontinence (bladder leaks urine when there is stress in the bladder by any physical activity such as sneezing, coughing, and laughing, etc.)
• Program 3: Helps with both stress and urge incontinence.
