The occurrence of side effects varies from person to person. The following are a few ways of dealing with some of the common side effects. However, consult your doctor if these persist.
Coping with Nausea
You can help yourself by eating small, frequent meals rather than large ones and drinking plenty of fluids. Eat slowly. Avoid fatty, fried, spicy and very sweet foods. Eat cold or slightly warm food if the smell of cooked or cooking food makes you feel sick. Get plenty of fresh air. You could also try chewing ginger or drinking ginger tea. Eat bananas to replace potassium in your blood which can drop if you are sick (vomit). Use oral rehydration salts to replace vitamins and minerals lost through being sick. There are some medicines that can help you stop from feeling sick. Speak to your doctor if your condition does not improve.
HOW TO USE NOSICOLD-DX SYRUP
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. NOSICOLD-DX Syrup Sugar Free may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
HOW NOSICOLD-DX SYRUP WORKS
Nosicold -DX Syrup Sugar Free is a combination of three medicines: Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, which relieves dry cough. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough center in the brain.

Nosicold -DX Syrup Sugar Free may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Nosicold -DX Syrup Sugar Free is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Nosicold -DX Syrup Sugar Free may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Nosicold -DX Syrup Sugar Free is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nosicold -DX Syrup Sugar Free may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
