Stationary 28 Volt Ground Power Unit

The SMSR series is our stationary ground power unit specially designed for being fixed mounted in an aircraft hangar, avionics test lab, engine test stand or any other application where 28VDC aircraft power is required. The product ranges from 100 amp output all the way to 750 amps with peak power at 2000 amps, with higher outputs available upon request. Many options are available for these units including remote voltage sensing, which allows voltage regulation at a test bench or centrally located DC panel board. Input voltage must be specified at the time of order; any three phase voltage and frequency is available. The unit also features our “Push Button Current Set” which allows the user to precisely set the maximum current limit with the push of a button. This will give the operator confidence that the unit will not allow too much current to be delivered to the aircraft or test item such as starters or avionics during the test or starting cycle.
