The Founding story : Inspired by Motherhood, Designed for You Putchi was founded as a maternity solutions brand in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India by MK Deepika and her husband Thiyagu in 2020. Putchi was born from a mother's love and a family's determination. It all started when she found it difficult to find functional and stylish nursing wear for a simple dinner out with her 2 month old son Abimanyu with her husband. So, she thought of designing a functional & fashionable nursing dress that she could easily feed while on the move and at the restaurant. This sparked the creation of Putchi – an exclusive maternity solutions brand designed for moms, by a mom. Our journey began with fashionable nursing dresses but expanded to address the real-life challenges of motherhood. Each Putchi solution is inspired by our own experiences. We understand the struggles, the joys, and the unspoken needs of every mother.
