Raasi refractories limited is a public limited company established in the year 1981. The factory is located about 80 kms away from hyderabad towards vijayawada on the side of national high way no.9 near narketpally (v&m), nalgonda district. This plant is a modern plant designed to manufacture alumina refractory bricks from 30% al2o3 to 90% al2o3. It is also manufactures carbon refractory like alumina carbon, alumina mag carbon, mag carbon. Besides the bricks, it also manufactures monolithics (castables, mortars, ramming mass, patching mass and gunning mass) in high alumina, basic and silica. This plant caters its products all over india to steel, cement, fertilizer and chemical industry sectors. We are enclosing the list of our customers for your kind reference. we have also a modern laboratory with research and development facilities with all requisite testing facilities. We are having a quality control lab which monitors the quality of raw material, mill house products, green wears and the finished products. the total plant spread over 25 acres of land with modern equipments. We have 5 grinding circuits with grinding machineries like impact mill, maxicon mill, clay mill, ball mill, jaw crusher etc., in the moulding section we have 13 presses with different capacity to mould the refractory bricks as per the customers need. We have also 8 points for hand moulding operated by pneumatic rammers and vibrating table. In the lab we have facilities for testing refractory properties like a.p, b.d, g.d, specific gravity, c.c.s, rul, pce, spoling resistant, hot mor, thermal shock resistance, creep etc., this plant can produce 20000 mt bricks and 6000 mt of monolithics per annum. We are attaching our technical brochure for your kind reference. we are having one tunnel kiln and one ring chamber kiln which are operate at 1500 deg.c. Having provision for the fuels like oil, pet coke and producer gas with 3 dryers for drying the bricks at 150 deg.
