We started of as a tiny refractory unit in 1973 with a capacity of 10000 tons per annum, at a time when Bokaro Steel Plant (a unit of SAIL) was under commissioning and there was a potential of huge growth in Steel Sector necessitating the growth of Refractory Industries to meet the demand of quality. Our Objectives Include:- Delivery of right products and services within specified time. Reduction in the recycle process to minimum level. Maintenance of 0% customer complaint. From that date till today we are on our way to achieve a production capacity of 0.1 million tons per annum by 2015.In our journey from a humble start in 1973, we have emerged as one of the largest and best technologically sophisticated plant by our constant research, development and up gradation as required. We have developed more than 10 import substitute products for Bokaro Steel Plant, Bhilai Steel Plant and Vizag Steel Plant. In the last four decades, we have continuously expanded our capacity by adding modern and sophisticated equipments. In 1987 we installed GAS FIRED 1550 degree Celsius Chamber Kiln. We have also renovated and modernized our Mill House in 1989-90 and the modernization is still continuing for more sophistication. In 2001-03 we added Tunnel Kiln No-1, No-2 and now No-3. In 2006, to improve our pressing capacity, we have added various numbers of 1200T, 800T, 600T presses and a number of other presses. In 2013 we developed state of the art laboratory and a brand new workshop. At Rajhans Technological Development is a continuous process and quality is the cornerstone of different types of operations. The Company’s technical focus has made company stand tall as one of the leading Refractory supplier to diverse sectors.
