Storage and Handling: Rohini Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate is best stored in its original, unopened, factory supplied shipping container. The storage environment shall be within the temperature range of 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C). Rohini FP may be stored in tanks constructed of mild steel, high density cross linked polyethylene, or reinforced fiberglass polyester (isophthalic polyester resin) with vinyl ester resin internal layer coating (50 – 100 mils). Mild steel piping and brass valves can be used. Stainless steel storage tanks and piping should not be used with Rohini FP. Failure to follow recommended maintenance procedures may result in the deterioration of foam concentrate quality and its fire fighting effectiveness. Foam equipment may be clogged or damaged by improperly maintained foam concentrates.
