Hopper Bottom Silos are generally built on fabricated steel structures with conical bottom made of steel plates and the corrugated sheets preformed are assembled with bolts and nuts on circular purlins and vertical stiffeners with water proof washers , cylindrically above the conical hopper with a slopped roof in the top.

Flat bottom Silos are constructed with flat bottom surface and are designed by advanced technology and can withstand all types of material storage. For any type of grain storage above 500MT capacities flat bottom silos are recommended.
