PLFA (Phospholipid Fatty Acid)

we are offering plfa (phospholipid fatty acid). Plfa is a phenotypic approach to assess the microbial community structure in the sample. Plfa analysis is based on the extraction of 'signature' lipid biomarkers from the cell membranes of the microbes and conversion of the lipids to their respective fames. Plfa analysis is an extremely robust technology with a long history that has been applied to nearly every specialty in the microbiology field including: bioremediation assessment wastewater treatment drinking water treatment microbial induced corrosion indoor air quality bio reactors.

Sherlock DNA Sequencing Software

Sherlock DNA Sequencing Software is something that we export, trade and supply. This software is used for analyzing and identifying fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) as well as microbes that are based on 16S28S rRNA gene sequence. Sherlock DNA starts when DNA sequencer leaves off having textual consensus sequencing. The best advantage of this software is that it can be used with sequencers sourced from any of the vendors. 16S identification is a technique that is static in nature and provides results without compromising on the growth conditions.

One can compare the samples with one another using Sherlock DNA with result that is displayed in a number of forms. The sequence alignment tools and familiar neighbor joining trees are the two forms of results. A new type display is developed by MIDI. Accurate Root Neighbor Joining Tree is a form of result finding that compares an unknown sample in between the group of samples.

Key driving features of these products include:
Full integration with MIDI's Sherlock Software
Validated libraries for bacterial ID (500bp and full gene 16S)
Combined reporting of DNA-FAME results
DNA analysis tools for direct comparison of DNA samples
Any DNA sequencer vendor can be used
Validated libraries for fungiyeast ID (500bp 28S)
Custom DNA library development tools

Fame Analysis

FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) analysis is a phenotypic approach and the only commercially available microbial identification system that uses Cellular Fatty Analysis by Gas Chromatography (GC-FAME).

Researchers have identified microbes using gas chromatography analysis of cellular fatty acids (GC-FAME) for half a century. For 25 of those years, so has the Sherlock MIS. In fact, there is no other commercially-available identification system today that has been able to harness this reliable, time-tested technology. It includes

FAME Analysis of:
1. Aerobic bacteria
2. Anaerobic bacteria
3. Yeast culture
4. Fungi

This analysis can be used in the following range for identification:
Pharma
Agriculture Research
Animal Science
Biodefense
Bioremediation
Clinical Diagnosis
Marine Science
Medical Microbiology
Plant Pathology
Soil Science and other areas where microbial identification is important

Edible Oil Testing

Oils acts as a vehicle to carry the soluble vitamins, nutrients, anti-oxidants to the body.

On the basis of these recommendations there are 3 parameters to adjudge any oil as healthy oil.
1. Ratio of saturatedmono saturatedpolyunsaturated fatty acid , ratio of essential fatty acids (omega6omega3) and presence of natural antioxidants.
2. It is now widely accepted that what the human body needs is a ratio varying from 5:1 to 10:1 of omega 6 to omega 3.The ratio of polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) and saturated fatty acids (SFA) should be between 0.8 to 1.0

We provide service of measuring physio chemical properties of oils:
Iodine value
Acid Value
Saponification
Peroxide Value
Detecting of Carbon atoms and fatty acid analysis of oils

Colony Forming Unit

colony-forming unit(CFUorcfu) is a measure of viable bacterial or fungal cells. In direct microscopic counts (cell counting using haemocytometer) where all cells, dead and living, are counted, but CFU measures only viable cells. For convenience the results are given as CFU/mL (colony-forming units per milliliter) for liquids, and CFU/g (colony-forming units per gram) for solids. CFU can becalculatedusing miles and misra method, it is useful to determine the microbiological load and magnitude of infection in blood and other samples.
