The company was started in late 50’s by Mr.Kaliappa chettiar as a trader of butter and ghee based in Coimbatore. The first retail outlet was started during the year 1983, in gandhipuram for the sale of butter and ghee. By his son K.M.K Chinnaraj, He started the manufacturing unit in the year 1999 with a milk handling capacity of 1, 20,000 per/month, now the plant has a handling capacity 0f 2, 70,000 Lts per/month. The company is producing milk, cheese, butter and curd to a tune of 15 tons per/month Presently, which will be extended to 35 tons of By products.
