• Mounting : These generators are of the horizontal, foot mounted, self regulated type.
• Range Of Production : 6 KVA to 200 KVA in 3 phase 415 volt 50 Hz. 205 KVA to 80 KVA in single phase 230 volts 50 Hz.
• Excitations : The Super Power Electrical Alternators are self excited and self regulated with static exciter. The band of regulated voltage is maintained at +_5% of rated voltage.
• Motor Starting : The Super Power Electrical Alternators are ideally suitable for induction motor starting. Twice the rated current of the generators can be taken for motor starting for 10 seconds duration.
• Short Circuit : The Electrical Alternators sustain short circuit current 5 times the rated current for short duration, i.e., not more than 5 seconds.
• Slip Ring : Electrical Alternators are made from gun metal alloy and are of proper thickness to give trouble free service for years together.
• Cooling : A heavy duty fan is fitted on the shaft with the help of key to keep the alternator cool.
• Winding & Insulation : The field and armature windings are made from super enamellecl high conductivity copper wires. The windings are insulated from each other with high class insulation, which can withstand temperature upto 90oC.
• Armature : The armature consists of a steel shaft onto which the core of silicon steel lamination is pressed hydraulically. After winding and impregnating the armature is dynamically balanced by a balancing machine to increase vibration free running.
• Control Panel : The panel board consists of suitable switches, fuses and meters, which are fitted into a wall of floor mounting cubicle.
