CAN fertilizers contain nearly 8% of calcium and the nitrogen content varies from 21% to 27%. These fertilizers are preferred to be used on acidic soil as it is less acidifying to the soil than many other nitrogen fertilizers. It can also be used as an alternative for ammonium nitrate.
