Duplex Steel UNS SAF 2205 Pipes is composed of 22% chromium, 5% nickel, 3.2% molybdenum and other alloying elements such as nitrogen and manganese. This steel has high resistance to erosion corrosion, high mechanical strength, good weldability, high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, high resistance to general corrosion, pitting corrosion, and crevice corrosion.

Welded Pipes manufacturing process starts with cold rolled strip of metal, roll formed into tubular shape and seam welded without the use of any filler material which then undergo various cold working techniques like Pilgering, cold drawing etc., until it reaches the exact size, tolerances, and temper in accordance to customer’s specifications.

ERW Pipes manufacturing process involves spot and seam welding where the sides are trimmed to control the width and the condition the edges for welding.
