Super-Duplex pipes are known as high alloyed, high-performance Duplex steel with a pitting resistance equivalent of >40 (based on Cr% + 3.3Mo% + 6N%). The chemical composition due to high contents of chromium, nickel , molybdenum improve its inter granular and pitting corrosion resistance capabilities. Addition of nitrogen enhances structural hardening by interstitial solid solution mechanism thus raising the yield strength without impairing toughness. Due to its high level of chromium, they provide outstanding resistance to acids, acid chlorides, caustic solutions and other environments in the chemical/petrochemical, pulp and paper industries. Our Super Duplex Pipes & Tubes are available as seamless , welded and ERW (ERW stands for Electric Resistance Welded) pipes & tubes.

Zeron 100 is a super duplex stainless steel having 25% chromium, 3.6% molybdenum and 0.7% tungsten. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, greater resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has 50–50 austenitic–ferritic structure.

Seamless Pipes are manufactured by using an extruded hollow tube or a drilled solid bar which then undergo various tube reduction processes to meet customers specifications.

Welded Pipes manufacturing process starts with cold rolled strip of metal, roll formed into tubular shape and seam welded without the use of any filler material which then undergo various cold working techniques like Pilgering, cold drawing etc., until it reaches the exact size, tolerances, and temper in accordance to customer’s specifications.
Zeron 100 Super Duplex Steel ERW Pipes
ERW Pipes manufacturing process involves spot and seam welding where the sides are trimmed to control the width and the condition the edges for welding. It is then passed through a number of contoured rollers which cold form the stainless steel into a tube. ERW stands for Electric Resistance Welding.
