The single phase portable reference standard (SPRS-1102) from SANDS is a hand held device that helps to calibrate the error present in the single phase energy meter i.e. the meter under test (MUT). The SPRS supports both static and electro-mechanical types of meters. It can also be used to compute the voltage, current, energy, phase angle etc of the meter under test. It has an LCD display and an alphanumeric keypad to suit the user. It can be interfaced with the PC for analysis. It has a capability of storing 1000 test results.

In order to implement a 100 % stator earth fault protection based on sub harmonic injection, a 20Hz voltageis injected into the generator starpoint. The 20-Hz generator SGEN-1001is used in combination with the bandpassfilterSBPF-1001in theStator Earth fault protection. Injection can be performed byconnecting the SGEN-1001and the SBPF-1001to the load resistor of an earthing or neutraltransformer. If an earth fault occurs in the generator starpoint, the 20 Hz voltage drives a currentthrough the fault resistance. From the driving voltage and the fault current, the protectiverelay determines the fault resistance.
The Display used to monitor the 20Hz and 50Hz current passing through NGT transformer. This could help to monitor the stator earth faultand could record the current every minute. The current shall be displayed in milli Amps for both 20Hz and 50Hz. If an earth fault occurs in the generator starpoint, the 20 Hz voltage drives a currentthrough the fault resistance. The current can be measured using clamp on CT which would clamped between load resistor and NGT. It gives indication if the current values are lower or higher than the set threshold

Smart Three Phase Reference Standard Meter is used to test the accuracy of three-phase &
single-phase energy meters at the customer site without interrupting the service connec-
tion. The base equipment is connected to the meter via CT & PT and can be operated by an
electrically isolated tablet (using Android application). The accuracy class of our measuring
device is 0.05/0.1/0.2.
The large display is equipped with an accurate quartz clock that synchronizes with time
signals like NTP, IRIG-B and RS485/RS232. It is suitable for monitoring time from long

SANDS Ethernet to Fiber Optic Media Converter is a rugged, industrial-grade 10/100M
Ethernet to Fiber Optic Media Converter, which provides one channel for media
conversion between 10/100BaseTX and 100BaseFX. It supports either multi-mode or
single-mode fiber optic and MDI (straight-through) and MDIX (crossover) cables. The
converter doesn't use DIP switch, jumper settings, or software drivers, making the unit
highly reliable and a truly plug-and-play device. It features auto-negotiation for half or
full-duplex and 10Mbps or 100Mbps data rates.

The TPRS supports both static and electro-mechanical types of meters. It can also be used to compute the voltage, current, energy, power factor etc of the meter under test. It has an LCD display, an alphanumeric keypad that makes it easy for the user to operate the TPRS. It can be interfaced with the PC for data analysis. It has a capability of storing up to 8000 test results.
The GATEWAY / DCU is an intelligent device with built-in RS232, RS485 and RF modules to
acquire data from clusters of energy meters or MFMs using inbuilt Modbus / DLMS
Softwares. It also equipped with GSM/GPRS module to transmit the data to the remote
data acquisition server. DCU is based on an ARM Cortex-A5 processor having 512MB of
DDR2 memory and expandable NAND Flash memory up to 2GB. Edge / Sensor data can be
stored locally using the onboard SD card option. The cloud interface is LTE with 2G/3G
fallback.
SANDS make of AMR Modem SAM-1101 is an intelligent device that can be connected to
any make of electronic energy meter, which is compliant to DLMS IEC 620156-21 standard
by means of optical/ RS232 port. The meters can be located in either consumer premises or
distribution transformers. The modem draws its power from the meter terminal block and
connects to the communication port of the meter. Thus this add-on modem is
non-intrusive and can be retrofitted easily to any meter.
