| These vertical type mixers are most ideal dry mixing. The Principal is not to stir or tumble but to whirl the ingredients the mixing chamber. Vertical screw conveyor lifts the ingredients to top, where mixing paddles whirls particles to the wall of mixing chamber following to the bottom. This mix is lifted and whirled again & again to give homogenous mix. The biggest advantage of this type mixer is that both feeding and discharge are ground level. |
