Coarse Aggregates are the primary building material supply, which includes a core component of constructions and high durability in strength. The Coarse Aggregates are the crushed stones extracted from crushing large rock quarry, boulders, or gravels (larger size). And the majority of the coarse aggregates constitute crushed gravels or stones.
They normally range 40mm, 20mm, 14mm, and 10mm aggregates. While 20mm size aggregates are commonly used, whereas the aggregates greater than 40mm size are used in mass concreting.
Generally, aggregates lead to coarse particulate materials that include gravel, stone, sand, clay, and marl. Aggregates can be either natural, manufactured, or recycled. Aggregates are obtained from natural sand, gravel, pits, hard-rock quarries, lakes, or seabed. Aggregators are classified as Coarse Aggregates and Fine Aggregators (usually less than 9.5mm).
