He is holding postgraduate degree from I IT-Madras in Machine Design and Mechanical Handling. He had designed Belt Conveyors. EOT crane travelling gantry mounted tripper cum Shuttle conveyor for spreading material over a width of 40 Meters and a length of 200 Meters. Mobile ship loaders, Paper Reel Handling Elevators, Turn tables. Rotary Brush Cleaners for Belt Conveyors, Paddle Feeders. Scrapper Reclaimers, and Resonance Vibratory Conveyors. Further he had successfully developed polymer based bearing housing for idlers in belt conveyors and they are working in many industries for the past 25 years without seizure. He based on customer’s observation and suggestion had improvised all conveyor accessories during the last three decade.
Earlier Coal Handling System especially for fluidized bed boilers was used to be nightmare for customers. This was totally solved by him and at one point of time it was proved to a customer that the plant could be run unmanned considering the reliability and automation. Apart from this almost all type of materials from lowest bulk density to highest bulk density were handled by him.
Shri Ramana Material Handling Accessories was executing total turnkey projects till 2005. Alter 2005 Shri Ramana Heavy Engineering Pvt.Ltd was formed to take care of turnkey projects and Shri Ramana Material Handling Accessories started concentrating on site fabrication and erection. Since then thousands of tonnage were fabricated and erected and major customers are BMM ISPAT Ltd.. SARDA METALS AND ALLOYS.,KARAIKAL PORT developed by MARG.
Our capability as on today is that we can generate 1000 tons of structural fabrication drawings per month. 100 to 200 lakhs worth of shop made components for Material handling equipment per month and 150 to 400 Tons of site fabrication and Erection per month. Shri Ramana Material Handling Accessories was started in the year 1999 and was executing turnkey projects till 2005. Later the same company was supposed to be converted in to a private limited company by name Shri Ramana Heavy Engineering Pvt Ltd. But due to various reasons both company started functioning simultaneously. At this point of time Shri Ramana Material Handling Accessories started doing site fabrication with material supply by either Shri Ramana Heavy Engineering Pvt Ltd or the end user. During 2003 to 2005 SRMHA achieved 4 crores turnover and in the last three years achieved again 3 to 4 crores turnover. To improve the financial strength of SRMHA it has inducted new partners with enough financial strength to undertake mega projects involving site fabrication and erection. In the event of an order from reputed firms the partners will issue letter of comfort to order issuing firms if required.
