SIMFED (Sikkim State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd.) is an apex cooperative organization established by the Government of Sikkim to promote and support the state’s farmers, producers, and rural enterprises. It functions as a key link between producers and markets, engaging in agricultural marketing, procurement, food processing, and distribution of essential commodities. SIMFED plays a major role in value addition and marketing of Sikkim’s unique organic and indigenous products such as spices, pulses, and processed foods. With its focus on sustainable development, fair trade, and rural empowerment, the federation operates across sectors including food processing, agri-input supply, and trading for government departments, ensuring both quality assurance and equitable growth for Sikkim’s farming community.
