This sparked the birth of the LIGHTPIPE in 2009 – India’s first, channeling daylight to where it was most needed. The innovation was met with industry-wide enthusiasm. Mr.Nori’s entrepreneurial journey also saw the introduction of tensile structures in India in 1996, revolutionizing structural engineering possibilities. Skyshade Daylights was born from the success of LIGHTPIPES and tensile structures, solidifying his dedication to these technologies. He broke ground again in 2014-15 with India’s first double-glazed skylight, and in 2012-13, established the Daylighting Lab, underscoring his commitment to ongoing research and development.
