Solo, having In-House Pressure & Gravity Die Casting facility, is able to supply a range of machined AL Die Cast components. These are Capsules used in collapsible steering systems, Switch housings, Plug Pinions (Top Plugs), Motor Covers, Pump inlet/ Outlet covers etc.

These are Differential Cases which house the Bevel Gears and Pinions. These are SG Iron castings procured from some of the most reputed foundries in India & China and machined to extremely close tolerance.

Solo manufactures in excess of 600, 000 Differential cases per anum. or more than 50, 000 per month. There are already 8 types of different case designs being processed for various customers.

Looking at the increasing volume of these components a new plant with multiple integrated lines, manufacturing Case Differentials from Casting to finished product, has been set up and takes the capacity to 1 million cases per year and more.

These are Housings of the Rack & Pinion type of Steering Systems, both manual and power, and Valve Housings for hydraulic Power Steering Systems. They are extremely complex housings with 3-4 bores machined to close tolerances, not just in size, but also in symmetry & concentricity. Al Alloy Castings are procured from some of the large and well established players in the field.
