Tan brown granite is one of the most popular brown granites. Its complex and interesting patterns really make it a stone to be admired and desired by all. It has no other common names and is quarried in the Andhra, and Hyderbad regions of southern India.
They are very lightly mottled with lighter grey tones which help lighten the stones overall appearance slightly. However it becomes very apparent that the brown minerals that give this stone its name are much more varied in color than when viewed from afar.
As the brown minerals make up around 50% to 60% of this granites mass, this creates an amazing effect. The brown spots can range from almost metallic copper brown in color through to dark chocolate brown in some sections. The darker browns are usually less common, and the overall appearance will be of the light copper brown in general. The darker browns simply accentuate the already stunning color combination of the light brown and blacks in the stone.

Absolute Black Granite Its stunning black bedrock is almost perfect in its uniform color. It is quarried in southern India and has a few other common industry names Jet Black Granite, Nero Absolute Granite, and Telephone Black Granite. It is incredibly popular due to its unique flawless appearance and can fit in with a variety of kitchen dcor types.
There are no variations, no mineral deposits, and no imperfections that can be see.
They range in color from light grey to dark grey in color.
Absolute black granite has the lowest amount of variation between slabs that it is possible to have. Every slab will look literally almost identical so you dont even really need to see the slab before you purchase it (this is the only time you will ever hear us give this advice!)

Coffee brown granite is one of those granites that looks exactly like it sounds. It is renowned for its stunning deep brown colors and is very popular for usage in kitchen countertops. It is quarried in India and is not commonly known by any other industry names.
Dotted around the stone are also little white quartz deposits. These stunning little minerals are not very frequent when compared to the brown minerals (about 5% of the stones mass at most).
This type of granite is said to have a very low level of variation between different slabs.

Colonial gold granite is a stunning cream and white stone that is loved for its golden cream tones. It is quarried in Pottal, India and is occasionally called caf cream granite. Its a great stone that looks at home in any kitchen.
Due to the high level of variation between slabs this granite can have a variety of different appearances from afar.
The large golden patches that give this granite its name are the most predominant feature of most slabs. They can range drastically in size and can cover anywhere between 20% and 70% of the stones surface. They can range in color from a very light amber, all the way through to a stunning warm golden tone. They are usually found in both isolated patches and large long winding veins.
Littered throughout the stone will be smaller darker mineral deposits. These are usually very dark brown or even burgundy in color.
When you combine colonial gold granite countertops with dark cabinets your kitchen will take on a modern and serious feel to it. The contrast between the cream bedrock and the white granite is not too stark, but is certainly there.
The brown mineral content in the stone will tie the cabinets and countertops together slightly so the difference in color is slightly less bold overall. The more golden minerals that are present in the stone will affect the overall appearance of the room drastically. The more golden minerals the less stark the contrast will be.

Black Pearl granite is a stunning grey and black stone with metallic silver mineral deposits. It is quarried in India and is commonly also known as silver pearl granite.
From afar this granite looks black or dark grey in color. Its overall appearance is reasonably uniform and no large patterns or mineral deposits are really visible.
The bedrock of this stone is a deep dark black in color. It does not make up much of the stones overall surface area as it is hidden by the large quantities of minerals that are present. A stunning grey mineral makes up the bulk of this stones mass. Its reasonably uniform in its color and can range from a medium grey, to a slightly dark grey.
Black pearl granite can look a little different in rooms that have different lighting conditions. While the stone will look black overall in any room in rooms with lots of natural light the silver and grey minerals will be a little more noticeable than usual. The metallic silver pearl sections of the stone will obviously be given more light to reflect, and will therefore be much more noticeable.

Astoria Granite is a stone quarried throughout India. It is also commonly called ivory cream granite.
Astoria granite is predominantly a creamy gold color which captures the eye from afar. This gold can range all the way from a slightly off white color to a color that resembles wet sand.
It contains dark minerals that make up about 5% of the stones overall mass. This results in the creamy gold being mixed with darker brown spots and occasionally brown veins. There is a lot of variation within this type of granite. The dark brown veins can range in colour from only slightly darker than the golden bedrock right through to almost black in color. The size and shape of these mineral deposits can also vary. Meaning some slabs of Astoria may have large brown veins that run the entire length of a slab. And others may just have slightly speckled dots all over.

River White Granite. It is quarried India in large quantities and is not commonly known by any other industry names. Its stunning white, grey and red tones make it a great choice for countertops in any type of kitchen.
Littered throughout the stone are long winding veins of a grey mineral. This mineral can vary in color from a light grey (noticeably darker than the bedrock) through to a dark grey in color. This grey mineral can make up anywhere between 20% and 40% of a slabs overall surface area and complements the grey / white bedrock beautifully.

Black Forest granite is a dark grey to black gneiss with white decoration of the Precambrian period with lots of waves and movement. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite but in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as a gneiss. The veining and color vary considerably and a small sample of Black Forest granite may not be representative of the whole slab therefore swatch samples must be approved for large projects to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes. During the polishing process a clear epoxy resin filler may be used to fill any micro fissures or tiny pitting however this does not affect the integrity of the stone, it merely provides an even smoother surface finish. Black Forest Granite is suitable for both interior and exterior use furthermore is frost resistant and with a constant polish.
Suitable for construction projects both commercial and domestic, prefabricated countertops/worktops, vanities, tiles, backsplashes, paving, fireplaces and memorials.

Madura gold granite is a stone that needs no introduction. Its stunning peachy golden tones are guaranteed to warm any kitchen. It is quarried in Tamil Nadu, India and is also commonly called Golden Oak India granite, and New Colonial Dream granite.
From afar this granite has an overall creamy golden appearance, it looks warm and vibrant. The bedrock of this stone is a stunning cream color, however not much of it is usually that visible as it is covered in several stunning minerals.
There is said to be an incredibly high level of variation between different slabs of Madura gold and you can be sure that no two slabs will ever look the same. Kashmir White granite is undoubtedly one of the most popular granites on the market. It is quarried in several quarries in southern India in large amounts, it has no other common industry names.
It is a truly stunning stone that certainly deserves all the recognition it has. It does however have a few downsides which many people are unaware of.
From afar Kashmir white is a predominantly white stone. But its overall appearance is generally a very light grey in color. The white bedrock reveals its self to be an even brighter and lighter white than it appeared to be from afar. It is as pure as pure can be.
The main mineral that is present is a light grey mineral that can range from only very slightly darker than the white bedrock to a medium grey in places. What makes this mineral extra special is that in places it can have a very light red tinge to it. It is really not very noticeable at all until you are right up next to the slab and are viewing it in a well lit room but it is certainly there.
Dotted around the stone will also be spots of red mineral deposits. These are usually very small in size and rarely exceed the size of a water droplet. These red mineral deposits are usually a very deep dark red / burgundy and elegantly add a little color to the stone (while not overpowering the fresh white appearance the stone has overall).
This granite does not really vary all that much in rooms with different lighting conditions. The light brown mineral patches may be a little less visible in rooms without much natural light but they are so feint anyway that they are usually not even that visible even with loads of light.
