This instrument is designed for the direct measurement of resistance of electrolytes etc. The slide wire is circular type with dial calibrated from 0 to 10 ohms. There are six multipliers of 0.1, 1, 10, 100, 1000 and 10000 ohms thus giving a total range of 0.01 to 1, 00, 000 ohms. The bridge is suitable for use on a dry battery. Instead of galvanometer sensitive telephone receiver or headphone can be used. The position of the slider is adjusted to the position of minimum sound in the headphone. The coils are of covered Eureka wire and properly aged. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge. Accuracy of coils + 0.1%.
Post Office Box Plug Type : Having three or four pairs of ratio coils of (10, 100, 1000 ohms) and 16 series coils of selected double covered wire enclosed in a teakwood case with Sunmica Top. The blocks are made of brass size 1/2" (Square Rod) nicely golden lacquered and resistance values are engraved on them. The top is manufactured from Bakelite. Two tapping keys are provided for Battery and Galvanometer. All plugs are interchangeable. All coils are calibrated on Imported Testing Bridge Accuracy 0.1%
Rheostats, Open type Single tube : Rheostats are made with a variety of resistance & current carrying capacity so as to satisfy every need. They are wound with heavely oxodised eurika resistance wire upon a porcelene tube dia 44 mm aprox. The tube is carrying upon bakalite ridder and the heavy duty sliding contact is of the phospor bronze with brass rod. 4 mm socket terminals are fitted, allowing for rheostat or potentiometer connection. Total resistance and maximum current capacity is marked on the slidder. Total

It comprises a cast metal bridge mounted on a triangular shaped stand adjustable for height and having a leveling screw with knurled head fitted to one corner. The bridge carries a steel torsion wire stretched across it, one end of which adjustable for torsion wire, by screw. At the centre of the wire a small clamp is fitted which carry light weight metal pointer with an adjustable counter-poise. From the notch near the tip of pointer is suspended a small mass pan with a hook fitted to its underside, to hang either a wire frame or a metal clip carrying a glass microscope slide 75x25x1 mm. The tip of the pointer move over a vertical scale graduated 6 cm subdivided in mm. Supplied complete with wire frame, micro slides clip, six glass microscope slides and spare length of torsion wire.
