In early 1980’s, when Induction technology in India was fairly new, founders of Stead Fast Engineers (SFE) felt the need for a substitute to extremely expensive Induction furnaces imported from Europe. Driven by this compelling need, SFE started developing indigenous furnaces. As a result of years of R&D first furnace crucible was launched in mid-80 and a complete Induction Furnace was launched in early 90’s.
