Nitsure as the Managing Director, and Mrs. S. S. Nitsure and Shri Ketan Nitsure as Directors. The company is a family run business. Shri S. K. Nitsure, the Managing Director is a qualified engineer, having completed his B.E. (Mech.) from College of Engineering, Pune and has an industry related work experience of almost 46 years. Mrs. S. S. Nitsure is an MA in Mathematics from Pune University and has been handling the finances of the company since its inception. Their son, Ketan Nitsure is a qualified Foundry Technologist, having completed a post-graduate Advanced Diploma from a reputed institute in Mumbai (Bombay). Mrs. Sheetal Nitsure, wife of Ketan Nitsure is a post-graduate of the Commerce stream and is also employed in the company and looks after the HR department as well as ISO related activities. The company had been in the business of manufacture of piston rings since its inception and in 2001, an expansion project was undertaken to manufacture Investment castings. We have installed a fully state-of-the-art plant and regularly produce Investment castings in various ferrous alloys. We are one of the leading manufacturers of investment castings in India. Our manufacturing range is from a few grams to 7-8 kgs. in Investment castings in various ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. After giving due consideration to our core competency, we consciously discontinued production of piston rings in 2011 and limited ourselves to manufacturing investment castings. We have been in business for almost 30 years and are OE suppliers to various reputed companies like: We enjoy self-certified vendor status with almost all our customers due to the consistency in our quality and timely deliveries. As mentioned above, we are also an ISO 9001 certified company. Our melting unit has two medium frequency induction furnaces (35 and 50 kg. capacity resp.) along with a microprocessor-based ferro-lab and a digital pyrometer. This sophisticated equipment enables us to keep a very close control on the metal composition and microstructure, which is perhaps one of the most important factors in proper working of investment castings and piston rings. Further consistency in quality is achieved by proper foundry practice and a foolproof process control mechanism and close personal supervision in conjunction with inspection at all stages of production. We also carry out 100% inspection at the finished product stage. This stringent quality control ensures that not a single sub-standard piece leaves the factory premises. We make Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Cast Iron and S. G. Iron investment castings. The weight range is from a few grams up to a maximum of 700 gm. 1.00 kg, at present. We may in the future expand our other activities to include castings weighing more than the above mentioned weight range. The smallest casting that we have made weighs only 1.5 gms! The plant is fully state-of-the-art, with precision controlled and sophisticated machinery and a temperature and humidity controlled workspace to ensure and enhance accuracy. You may also think of converting some of your machined components to components made by the investment casting process. This conversion is likely to save time and money by way of reduced machining cost and less machining time.
