In Ayurveda the fruit is considered to balance all Ã¢ï¿½ï¿½tridoshasÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½ and recommended as rejuvenator, blood purifier, liver and kidneyfunction enhancer. The fruit is considered as rich source of Vit C and polyphenols, natural immunity booster lipid lowering and anti-atherosclerosis agent. Tulsi in combination with Amla consider equal to Sanjeevani in Ayurveda. Direction of use: Take about 3 g of Amla tea sample in 150 mL of water boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Filter it and add sugar as per the taste. Caution: Do not consume before bed as it may cause disturbed stomach. Pregnant and lactating mothers and should not consume. Avoid in case of diarrhea. Contraindications: Consume only after consultation with health care professional if already taking iron supplements,antidiabetic, antihypertensive, lipid lowering and other related medications.
