At Suresh Steels, we hold a capacity to pickle HR coils stretching to the maximum width of upto 1600mm and maximum weight of 25MT. Pickling is simply the application of Hydrochloric Acid from two acid tanks (each of 15mtrs length and maintained at a set temperature) to the coils with an intent to clean it of its rusty layers, scales and other visible impurities. This arrangement is followed by a hot chamber to dry the coils followed by an oil spray system. At the end of Pickling, the coils display a bright surface finish. The average pickling speed is 20 mtrs/ minute

We boast of the latest 4HI Cold Rolling Mill with a maximum rolling capacity of upto 365mm width. Our infrastructure is capable of achieving the best surface finish and superior uniform gauge, supported by bell type of annealing furnace. We prefer annealing by adopting vacuum annealing method through Nitrogen Gas Injection. With the help of different prescribed slitting and soaking cycles, we achieve the desired hardness in CRCA material.

Our facility includes two Tube Mills for manufacturing ERW Steel Tubes, ranging from 12.70mm dia (1/2” dia) to 125mm Dia (5” Dia). TUBE MILLS: We have two Tube Mills for manufacturing of ERW Steel Tubes, ranging from 12.70mm dia (1/2” dia) to 125mm Dia (5” Dia). Over and above, we are also manufacturing ERW square, rectangular and oval tubes. We are enclosing herewith the list of sizes range of tubes manufactured at our end (Annexure-I).

CDW tubes are customised products as required by customers for specific purposes wherein high precision, tolerance, tensile strength, mechanical enhancement, better surface finish, custom sizes and quantities etc are desired. Herein, the finished ERW tube is the starting raw material from which the CDW tubes are made.

Herein, the finished ERW tube is the starting raw material from which the CDW tubes are made. ERW tubes are subjected to processes like pickling, annealing, lubricating and swaging. Next, the desired size is attained by passing the tube through multiple drawing operations. A final round of visual and mechanical inspection is followed by oiling, packing and dispatch.

At Suresh Steels, production of Bright Bars is a cherished speciality, Hot rolled bars are pickled and drawn through a Tungsten Carbide Die. For special applications, the Hot rolled bars are subjected to a Turning machine to attain a specific size. The final product is called ‘Cold Drawn Bright Bar’ as the production process does not require external heating. Commonly produced shapes include Round, Rectangular,  Hexagon, Square or any other Shape as per requirement. Bright Bars  are preferred over traditional hot rolled bars because of, brighter, clearer and defect free surfaces Higher, accurate tolerance levels These qualities allow the bar to be utilised in high performance, maximum stress conditions.
