We are offering cetylpyridinium chloride. Cpc is a cationic quaternary ammonium compound. It is an antiseptic that kills bacteria and other microorganisms. Antiseptics are antimicrobial substances that are applied to living tissueskin to reduce the possibility of infection, sepsis, or putrefaction. Cetylpyridinium chloride has shown good adsorption in oral ph conditions, it has been effective in preventing dental plaque & active against the release of proinflammatory toxins by bacteria, therefore preventing the onset of gingivitis. Classified by the fda as a safe and effective antimicrobial agent for controlling plaque-induced gingivitis, when formulated in a concentration range of between 0.045% and 0.1%. Cpc's molecule is a monocationic surfactant that is soluble in alcohol & in aqueous solutions; it can act as a detergent & an antiseptic, it is non-corrosive & non-oxidising and has a neutral ph.
