Solar Inverter makes use of solar panels that produces DC (direct current) electricity. It is basically used in such applications that involve the use of a battery. As solar panels only produce DC current, an inverter can be used for converting the DC into AC electricity for further usage. The role of a Solar Inverter is to be the interface between two energy sources, i.e., DC network on one side and the AC utility grid on the other.
