Polyvinyl Alcohol (abbreviated as PVA) is a kind of water-soluble resin produced by polymerization and alcoholysis of vinyl acetate. Due to its unique features of high cohesiveness, membrane tenacity, smoothness, solvent resistance, gas inhibitor, wear resistance, protective colloid, and waterproof after specially treated, polyvinyl alcohol is widely applied in textile, building, papermaking, packing, timber processing, agriculture, printing, polymer chemical, ceramic, iron and steel, electronic, electrolytic, electroplating and other industries. As excellent synthetic fibers, it can also be spun and acetalized to make vinylon fiber. Properties :
Light Liquid Paraffin Oil Ip is highly purified mixture of liquid saturated hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum and is highly paraffinic in nature. Light Liquid Paraffin oil is transparent, & free from fluorescence in daylight. It is colourless, tasteless, and odourless when cold.
Medicinal liquid paraffin, also known as paraffinum liquidum, is a very highly refined mineral oil used in cosmetics and for medical purposes.
Synthetic Colour Chem Industries is a well known Importer, Supplier & Stockist of Gum Rosin. "Rosin is brittle and friable, with a faint piny odor. It is typically a glassy solid, though some rosins will form crystals, especially when brought into solution. The practical melting point varies with different specimens, some being semi-fluid at the temperature of boiling water, others melting at 100oC to 120oC. It is very flammable, burning with a smoky flame, so care should be taken when melting it." Applications :
Special Properties :
Uses :Since gum rosin is easily softened and oxidized, in the oil paint industry, the carboxylation reaction of resin acid is usually employed to produce resinate for further use. While in the production of synthetic rubber and printing ink, resin acid is changed into disproportionate rosin, polymerized rosin, hydrogenated rosin etc., for further use by its double bond reaction.
We provide Caustic Potash for our esteemed clients. Potassium hydroxide is an inorganic compound with the formula KOH, its common name is caustic potash. Along with sodium hydroxide (NaOH), this colorless solid is a prototypical strong base. It has many industrial and niche applications. Most applications exploit its reactivity toward acids and its corrosive nature. Potassium hydroxide can be found in pure form by reacting sodium hydroxide with impure potassium. Potassium hydroxide is usually sold as translucent pellets, which will become tacky in air because KOH is hygroscopic. Consequently, KOH typically contains varying amounts of water. Its dissolution in water is strongly exothermic, meaning the process gives off significant heat. Concentrated aqueous solutions are sometimes called potassium lyes. Even at high temperatures, solid KOH does not dehydrate readily. Uses Of Caustic Potash :
Hexamine is Hexamine which is a heterocyclic organic compound with the molecular formula (CH2) 6N4. A heterocyclic cyclic compound is compound, which has atoms of at least 2 different elements as members of its rings. A cyclic compound is an organic compound in which a series of atoms are connected to form a loop or ring. Simply speaking, Heterocyclic organic compound are composed of at least one atom of carbon bound to at least one other element, such as oxygen or sulfur. These atoms are arranged in a ring structure. The other names of Hexamine are Methenamine, Urotropine, Tetraazaadamantane, Formin, and Aminoform. Uses :It is used in the preparations of phenolic (phenolic formaldehyde) resins and phenolic resin molding compound, where it is added as a hardening component. These products are used as binders, e.g., in brake and clutch linings, abrasive products, no-woven textiles, fireproof materials. Phenolic formaldehyde resins include synthetic thermosetting resins got by the reaction of phenol (an organic compound) and formaldehyde.
