Seasame is one of the oldest cultivated planet in the world. Today India is the world's largest producers of sesame. The world an average produces close to 3 million tons of sesome seed every year Around 80% of the sesame seed production in India, happens during the khariff season(June-July to September-October), with the crop starting to arrive from September.
