HTL (Heat Transfer Label) are pre-printed on high tensile strength and both side oriented polymeric substrate which works as a medium for transferring the label content (graphics and text content) onto a surface of a regular or irregular shaped containers, mostly made of PP, HDPE, Glass etc. These labels are rotogravure printed up to 11 colours with a very high resolution like continuous toned photographs. Metalic Fluorescent and Pearlescent Thermo Chromatic inks are available in matte and gloss finishes. One of the latest innovation in the field of packaging involves consumer friendly easy-peel range of films used for lid application for Dairy products, Food packaging, Medical and Pharmaceutical packaging. The film is biaxial oriented polyester film with a heat-sealable ciating on one surface and plain polyester on the other side. It is specially designed as a heat sealable peel-able lidding film in packaging frozen food and ready to eat meal packages. The film and its laminated composite is dual oven-able and can be used in both microwave and conventional ovens. Advantages : Low temperature sealing causes no content degradation inside the container. Easy separation of sealant layer during peeling off. Hermatic sealing ensures no seal contamination and uncompromised barrier properties of lid. Can replace 2 layer or 3 layer laminates as the polyester itself provides printing surface and sealant surface both in one film. Thus using this film for lidding application can increase yields per unit and thus becomes more economical than laminates. Being white opaque film, it reduces penetration of UV components of light and thus reduces chances of oxidation of sealed contents. The thickness can be customised based on customers requisition of barrier and shelf life values. Can be used as sealant layer to aluminium foil or metallised substrates by the means of solvent less lamination process. It is completely food-grade and FDA approved film.
