Welcome to TAS CRAFTS
Vision The Centre envisions a future where marginalized women and disadvantaged individuals in Puducherry achieve economic independence and social dignity. By offering sustainable livelihood opportunities, particularly to women affected by divorce, estranged individuals, and those from socially backward communities, the Centre aims to foster self-reliance, confidence, and purpose. Through skill development and income-generating activities, we seek to be a catalyst for personal growth and community transformation. Mission Our mission is to uplift disadvantaged individuals by providing vocational training and creating economic opportunities. The Centre offers comprehensive sewing workshops where participants craft products like bags, lampshades, and dining table mats using handloom cotton, Kalamkari fabrics, natural grass mats, and hand-painted silks. These products cater to Indian, European, and Fair Trade markets, supporting sustainable income. Beyond technical skills, we promote entrepreneurship, creativity, and financial literacy, empowering individuals to pursue business ventures or secure employment.
